Congratulations!
It's been a special day for some of you today. Those of you who last year took one of the Cambridge ESOL Exams received your certificates some hours ago. It was so nice seeing you up there on the stage taking your certificates, I'm so proud of you. I hope it's been a good experience for you too. I'd like you to take this as a starting point for your progress with the English language. Remember what "Mr. Cambridge" said: "this is a staircase that you have to walk up" and you've already started doing it really well.
Congratulations to you all!!

News links
As I said, here you have some links that you may find useful when you look for the news you have to bring to the class. Remember you can choose the topic you like the most, the one you find the most interesting, or simply the one you feel like talking about.
That's enough for the time being. I hope we all enjoy this activity. Try to be original!

Welcome back!
Tomorrow is the day. A new school year is about to begin for all of us. Some of you already know this place from last year and you know what we're going to use it for, more or less. The 'new' ones, my new students in 1º ESO and 1º Bachillerato, don't worry because you will get used to it in just a minute.
Feel free to use the blog as much as you want, write comments, give ideas, ask questions to me and to your classmates... and many more things. I really hope we can get a lot out of this.
Let me start the year with a funny video about why it's important to speak a second language.
I hope you have a great start tomorrow and, of course, a great great year.
PS. Students from last year are also welcome to keep visiting and using the blog. I'm not going to be your teacher but I'm still here for you :P
